Lily, our Varsity center and star kicker, shared some wise words about Women in sports:

​

"I joined the women's rugby team this year as well as continuing to play football at UCL. It was definitely the right decision to make. The girls in both clubs are amazing and created an exceptional atmosphere during what has been a very difficult year. Playing alongside strong women is an inspiring experience, and one that some young girls may miss out on due to lack of encouragement they receive growing up. The kindness, resilience and support that I have experienced playing in both clubs has shown me the importance of having access to an inclusive sporting environment. It's safe to say that women belong in sport, and sometimes more than one!"
